CSS - Cabinet Security System

General Description

The Nicotra Sistemi S.p.A. Cabinet Security System, or CSS, is designed to monitor and control automatically the cabinets opening and closing of any telephone network.

The system is able to distinguish between legal and illegal accesses, and in the latter case, to generate an alarm to the proper Maintenance Station.

System main features are the following:

• Authorize access and remotely open the lock of a street cabinet /door
• Allow access to the system by authorized personnel by means of a transponder key
• Generate alarm in case of illegal access to the cabinet
• Keep record of access to the cabinet
• Provide detailed reports regarding the usage of the cabinet and the status of the system itself.
